The Process

Most of our projects follow this process. For some clients the process is modified or we create a new one to suit their project.

  • First, after you get in touch, we will have a conversation together. I want to learn about your business/brand, your goals for a session, and some of your initial ideas. By defining the project scope, we can set the expectations for going forward.

  • Once you decide to book, we will schedule a date and get you into my system by sending a contract and an invoice for the retainer. A $200 retainer is due at the time of your session booking, with the remaining balance due on the day of your session or delivery of the final images. Depending on the size of the project, payment terms can be negotiated.

  • I will perform an Image Opportunity Assessment of your website, shop, social media accounts and other online platforms. This will help me understand where there are opportunities to create new visual content that will up level and reflect your brand while also fitting with the current theme and branding.

  • You will complete a shoot questionnaire.

  • We will then have our shoot planning call to figure out the details of your shoot. Lots of things go into planning a session to ensure it reflects your brand and goals. We will create a shot list and image guidelines.

  • Then shoot day, we’ll work through the shot list, making sure we get full coverage.

  • After the shoot, I will cull the images from your session and give them a quick edit and place them in your proofing gallery. From there, you will select the number of images included in your package, plus any extras you want to purchase. I will then further retouch and edit as needed.

  • After I complete the editing, upload your high-resolution final images into another gallery. You then complete the payment arrangements and download your images.
